How do I place an order with THSS Group? |
| A: |
You first must open an account (see above). Following this, please call us at +852 2549 0425 and our Bullion Order Desk will be at your service or you may choose to submit the order form online, however, as these prices are updating in real time we recommend that you press reload or refresh just before you fill out our online order form. This will ensure that you are using the most recent quotes. During business hours, upon receiving your order form online, our staff will contact you via phone and quote you an absolute current price and confirm that we have sufficient inventory to fill your order. If we do not have the items available immediately, which we typically do, we will advise when we are expecting our next availability. Thereafter, to confirm your order and have the prices locked-in, a Confirmed Bullion Order Form has to be signed by you together with your credit card details and shipping address. Kindly email or fax the completed form back to us within 30 minutes or this order will be considered void. Credit card details are for securing the order with the lock-in price only. You will need to send the rest of the payment within 48 hours using one of our other payment options (see below). |

|
| Q: |
Can you ship my order to a P. O. Box address? |
| A: |
No as a signature is required upon delivery of your package. |
| |
|
| Q: |
Do you ship internationally? |
| A: |
Yes, we do via Federal Express or another established and well respected courier companies. |
| |
|
| Q: |
How is my order shipped? |
| A: |
All orders are shipped by Federal Express or another established and well respected courier companies. Each package is fully insured and requires a signature upon delivery. However, your package is not covered by insurance once it has been signed for. Do take note that if you authorize someone else to receive your package, then you are doing so at your own risk and THSS will not be liable for any loss or damage. |
| |
|
| Q: |
How long will my package take to arrive? |
| A: |
If the products that you order are not in a backorder status at the time you place your order, transit time can take an extra 2 to 10 business days, depending on where you live; therefore, please allow 5 to 12 business days for your goods to arrive. If you have ordered a product that is backordered, then normal delivery times will be adjusted accordingly. The main reason for a product to be backordered is due to the recent economic upheaval that has caused a gold and silver rush, which then has caused many items to become scarce. This is happening to all dealers. |
| |
|
| Q: |
Is my order being insured during transit? |
| A: |
Yes, it is. THSS fully insures all of its shipments and, subject to the terms of the insurance policy, its insurer is responsible if anything should happen to your package while it is in transit to you. However, THSS will not accept responsibility if you have instructed the particular carrier to leave parcels for you without the need for a signature. |

| Q: |
What is 'Spot Price'? |
| A: |
The spot price or spot rate of a commodity, a security or a currency is the price that is quoted for immediate (spot) settlement (payment and delivery). It is also the price that large industrial users and the mints pay before converting gold and silver into the products we carry online. |
| |
|
| Q: |
Why is your price higher than the Spot Price? |
| A: |
Bullion dealers like THSS are not a volunteer or charity operation. We make money by buying and selling precious metals with a small margin. Mints have to be paid to change it from its industrial form into the products that investors want, so even dealers can't buy these products at the spot price. |
| |
|
| Q: |
Can I sell my bullion products to THSS? |
| A: |
Yes, you definitely can. Please call us at +852 2549 0425 during our trading hours to ask for the bid price and the amount you want to sell. There are two ways of selling to us - you may choose to lock-in the price after we have agreed on the price quote or you may choose to ship the metals to us first and after we have physically received the stock and verification has been made, we will call you to lock-in the price. We will then wire transfer funds to your account according to your instructions. Please note that this process takes about one to two weeks. |
| |
|
| Q: |
Do dealers buy bullion back at the same price they sell it? |
| A: |
No, the "spread" or difference between the buying and selling prices allows dealers to stay in business and is much the same as when banks charge more interest for loans than they pay for savings accounts. The precious metals bullion business is a very competitive one, and the profit margin, or spread, is very small compared to almost any other inventory business. |
